1. Environment: Choose stable, vibration-free, non-heated, and dim locations. Avoid vibration and temperature shifts (ideal 20 ± 2℃). Outdoors, use green light laser level with a shading board to minimize light interference.
2. Inspection: Ensure the level meter's surface is undamaged, clean, and free from scratches. Laser levelers must have charged batteries; bubble levels need intact tubes without leaks.
3. Calibration: Place the level gauge on a standard plate, stabilize the bubble, and note the reading. Rotate 180°, remeasure, and calculate zero position error. If excess, adjust using screws. Laser levels feature quick self-calibration; refer to manual.
